Ryan Scott Teglovic, 49, residing in Shelby, passed away at home surrounded by his loving family, Friday evening, May 27, 2022.
Ryan was born on May 28, 1973, in Willard, OH to Dave and Linda (Lamoreaux) Teglovic.
Ryan graduated from South Central High School as a member of the class of 1991. He furthered his education at Mount Vernon Nazarene College where he received his bachelor's degree and was a pitcher for the baseball team. Ryan also attended Ashland University where he earned his master’s degree. Ryan was employed at South Central Schools for 10 years as a History Teacher, Dean of Students, Head Baseball Coach, and Head Football Coach. For the past 14 years, he worked at Colonel Crawford High School as a History Teacher, Dean of Students, and Head Football Coach. Ryan had a special skill for impacting the lives of young people inside and outside of the classroom. He was a dedicated Husband, Father, Son, and Coach who was competitive, compassionate, and loving. Ryan had a strong relationship with Jesus Christ and served as a wonderful example to his family on how to walk in this life with faith. Even in the darkest days of his battle with cancer, he never lost hope. Ryan knew one day he would be completely healed, on this earth or in Heaven above.
Ryan is survived by his loving wife, Lori (Dendinger) Teglovic, who he had been married to for 27 years; 6 children, Kristen Teglovic of Shelby, Abbi (Derek) Burkhart of Alger, Kari (Ben) Raudebaugh of Shelby, Allison Teglovic of Shelby, Nick Teglovic of Shelby, and Molli Teglovic of Shelby; 1 grandchild on the way; father, Dave Teglovic of Willard, mother, Linda Teglovic of Greenwich, father-in-law, Roy Dendinger of North Fairfield.
Ryan was preceded in death by his mother-in-law, Mavis Dendinger; paternal grandparents, John and Ruth Teglovic, and maternal grandparents, Dale and Wilma Lamoreaux.
A visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 1, 2022, from 2 pm to 8 pm at Colonel Crawford High School Gymnasium, 2303 State Route 602, North Robinson, OH 44856. A funeral service will be held at Colonel Crawford High School Gymnasium on Thursday, June 2, 2022, at 11 am. A burial will follow at Edwards Grove Cemetery in Greenwich at 1 pm. Eastman Funeral Home is honored to assist the family with arrangements.
