Sharon Ann (Youngless) Strader

Sharon Ann Strader, 73, of Norwalk, passed away early Friday morning, May 19, 2023, at the Cleveland Clinic.  

Sharon was born on March 17, 1950, in Oberlin, OH to the late Clarabelle (Rice) Youngless and Norman Youngless, Sr. She graduated from New London High School and was employed as a home health aide with Seniors Helping Seniors. Sharon was a member of the Eagles Club and VFW. She enjoyed visiting casinos, playing bingo, and making others happy.  

Sharon is survived by her loving husband, Thomas E. Strader, Sr.; children, Heather Thomas of Homosassa, Florida, Thomas E. Strader, Jr., Brian Rupp, Amy (Bursiel) Rupp, Demita (Marnia) Smith, and Shawn Thomas, all of Norwalk.  

In addition to her parents, Sharon was preceded in death by her brother, Norman (Pete) Youngless, and numerous aunts and uncles.  

A visitation will be held on Thursday, May 25, 2023, from 10 am until 11:30 am at Norwalk Baptist Church, 2084 State Route 20, Norwalk, OH 44857. The funeral service will begin at the church at 11:30 am. The procession and burial will follow at Woodlawn Cemetery. Walker-Eastman-Heydinger Funeral Home is honored to assist the family with arrangements.
