Stanley W. Burton Jr, 75, of Fremont, died Thursday, December 15, 2022 from injuries sustained in an accident. Born on December 25, 1946 in Norwalk, he was the son of the late Stanley Wilburn Burton, Sr, and Gladys (Miller) Dubick.

Stanley was a graduate of New London High School and served in the United States Army during Vietnam. He worked various jobs around the Sandusky area. Stanley enjoyed building and collecting model cars. He also loved wildlife and enjoyed feeding the squirrels. Stanley will be remembered for his sense of humor and his incredible whistle.

Survivors include his siblings, William "Billy" Burton, of New London, Lynn Burton, of Willard, and Jeannene Burt, of New London; nieces and nephews, Brian (Kim) Burt, Kelly (Todd) Tappel, Tracy (Mike) Carsey, Becky (Ron) Hamisfar, Shawna Burton, Ashley (Travis) Buffington, and Mandy Heisher. Stanley was preceded in death by his sister Mary Lou Aranyos.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, May 7, 2023, from 2 - 4 p.m. at the New London Alliance Church, 4625 St. Rt. 162, New London.   Expressions of sympathy may be shared online at www.eastmanfuneralhome.com.
