Tara Anell Howard-Muhammad, 44, of Cleveland, passed away unexpectedly on May 6, 2022. She was born in Oberlin on May 8, 1977 to Sharon Howard. Tara resided in Wellington and was a Black River High School graduate before moving to Cleveland. Following graduation, Tara went on to receive her Bachelor’s Degree and was currently working as a court appointed advocate through Voices For Children. She took great pride in her work as a notary, formerly a home health aide, and children services.
Tara was a member of many organizations including African Nation Gun Club and New Era. She thoroughly enjoyed studying and obtaining new knowledge, reading, shopping, listening to music, and watching comedies. Her true passion in life was being an advocate and voice for those around her. She also cherished the time she spent with her children and extended family.
Left to treasure her memory are her children, Taejwan Howard, of Lorain, Reyna Grace Moran, of Akron, Anthony Bojdo, of Elyria, Messiah Howard-Wright, of Lorain, Jael Lee Gambo-Howard and Ashe Anell Howard, both of Cleveland; granddaughter, Maliyah Bojdo; mother, Sharon Howard; siblings, Tremayne, Tonia and Tarina Howard, and numerous aunties, uncles, nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her grandmother, Bettie Howard.
Family and friends will be received on Tuesday, May 17, 2022 from 4-7 pm at Norton-Eastman Funeral Home, 370 South Main Street, Wellington, OH 44090.
