Theodore “Ted” J. Cook 

May 3, 1944 – June 13, 2022 

Theodore “Ted” J. Cook, 78, of North Fairfield, passed away Monday evening, June 13, 2022, at Stein Hospice Care Center in Sandusky.  

Ted was born on May 3, 1944, in Willard, OH to the late Clarence and Dorothy (Wirt) Cook.  

Ted was a graduate of South Central High School and proudly served his country as a member of the United States Army. He was a member of Ripley Church, Norwalk Eagles, VFW Dads’ of Foreign Service Veterans, past president and chaplain of the VFW, and Sandusky Stroke Club. Ted enjoyed staying busy but did enjoy fishing and collecting various items, especially coins.  

Ted is survived by his son, Ray (Michelle) Cook of Norwalk; 2 grandchildren, Jalynn and Morganne (Tyler); great-granddaughter, Lillian Iris; 2 brothers, Dave Cook of Florida and John (Kathy) Cook of North Fairfield.  

In addition to his parents, Ted was preceded in death by his 2 sisters, Katherine and Audrey.  

A visitation will be held on Friday, June 17, 2022, from 10 am until the time of funeral services at 12 pm at Walker-Eastman-Heydinger Funeral Home, 98 W. Main Street, Norwalk, OH 44857. Burial will follow in North Fairfield Cemetery.
