Timothy "Tim" A. Brownson

Timothy A. Brownson “Tim”, passed away surrounded by this loving family March 15,2023. He was born August 1, 1948, in Summerville, South Carolina, and lived in northern Ashland County most of his life.

He had retired from being a truck driver of 40+ years. Tim was known for his long talks with family and friends with a hot cup of coffee. He was loved by many, and he never knew a stranger. He loved the outdoors, tractors, animals, going to auctions and spending most of his time with his granddaughter, Trisha. Tim will be missed by many, but he lived a good, hardworking life and will be remembered by his loving heart and kind soul.

His loving soul will continue to shine through his surviving family; daughter, Christine Stillion (John Stillion) of Purvis, MS, son, Ericson Brownson (Kathy Sexton) of Nova, OH, daughter, Tonya VanDriest (Wayne VanDriest) of Ashland, OH, granddaughter/daughter, Trisha Cooper (Danny Salsgiver) of West Salem, OH; granddaughters Ashley, Taylor, Brittany and grandson Cole; 4 great granddaughters, 1 great grandson; mom Edith Brownson of Ashland,OH ; brothers and sisters. He was preceded in the death by, his loving wife of 33 years Sharon Brownson (Kwaitkowski), birth mother Clara Mae Eadie, twin brothers Davis & David Jones and father, Walter Brownson. 

A private burial service will take place at Holy Cross Cemetery in New London. Donations/Memorials contributions in memory of Tim can be sent to the family at 141 Back Street West Salem, Ohio 44287.  Eastman Funeral Home, New London, assisted the Brownson family with arrangements.
