Viola Kilgore Obituary
Viola "Vi" June Kilgore, 70, passed away Wednesday, January 30, 2019 at her home in Wakeman.
She was born on October 16, 1948 in Salineville, Ohio and resided in the Wakeman area for the last 34 years.
Viola worked and managed the Box Office restaurant in New London, bred and raised English Mastiff's for 12 years and managed Kilgore Enterprises Body Shop with her husband James.
Survived by her husband of 53 years, James Earl Kilgore; children, James Kilgore of Wellington, Leslie Kilgore of Nova, Kenneth Kilgore of Wakeman and Kristofor Kilgore of Sandusky; grandchildren, Saundra, John, Joseph, Sierra, Shaelynn, Madison, Ashlynn and Tyler and siblings, Daynus Perkins of Norwalk, Dennis Perkins of Elyria, Danny Perkins of Avon, Valneta Rogers of Vermilion, Arthur Brown of Huron and Karen Shepherd of New London.
Viola was preceded in death by her father, Daynus Perkins, Sr; mother, Alice Brown; stepfather, Junior Brown; brother, Donald Perkins and sister, Sandy Grasso.
The Kilgore family will greet friends Monday, February 4th from 2-4 pm and 6-8 pm at Eastman Funeral Home in New London where a service will be held Tuesday at 11 am with Rev. Brian Ayers officiating. Burial will follow in Clarksfield Methodist Cemetery.
The family would like to extent a special thank you to Stein Hospice.
