Wendy L. Groot

Wendy L. Groot, 49, of Wellington, died Saturday, October 7, 2023, at her home and in her husband’s arms. She was born in Cleveland on January 16, 1974, and was a 1992 graduate of Olmsted Falls High School.

Wendy worked at Central Plumbing as a bookkeeper for 30 years. She enjoyed raising plants, dancing, and singing karaoke. Wendy enjoyed her life and drinking a good beer.

She is survived by her husband, Rich Groot, who she married on May 13, 2016; children, Mariah Ann Lamb, of Oberlin, Felecia Groot, of Wellington, and Richard Groot, of Wellington; grandchildren, Alexis Lynn Konst and Parker John Groot; her parents, Alan and Deborah (nee Ward) Nowak, of Olmsted Township; and her sister, Tamara Jean (Mark) Swearingen, of Berea.

Family and friends will be received at Norton-Eastman Funeral Home, 370 S.
