William J. Camp, 82, of Norwalk, Ohio, passed away peacefully on October 17, 2021, at Stein Hospice Care Center in Sandusky, Ohio. He was born on November 7, 1938, in Norwalk, Ohio to the late Vincent and Mary (Burill) Camp. Bill was a 1956 St. Paul Catholic High School graduate.
He drove truck for many years for 7-Up and Agri-General, retiring from South Shore Transportation. Bill cherished spending time with his family and loved to take short rides out in the country, attend his grandchildren’s sports events, hunting and fishing, and playing practical jokes on his sister, Shirley.
Bill is survived by his wife, Patricia; children, Terri (Gary) Hamilton, John (Sarah) Camp, Mary Ann (Steve) Wallace, Beth Slone; sister, Shirley Jacob; several grandchildren and great grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, Bill was preceded in death by his son Alan Camp and brother-in-law, Robert Jacobs.
Friends and family are invited to a visitation at Walker-Eastman-Heydinger Funeral Home, 98 W. Main St., Norwalk, Ohio on Thursday, October 21, 2021, from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. A funeral mass will be held the following day, Friday, October 22, 2021, at St. Paul Catholic Church, 91 E. Main St., Norwalk, Ohio beginning at 10:30 a.m. with burial to follow in Greenwood Cemetery, Willard, Ohio.
