William “Bill” Hartman, 57, of New London, Ohio, passed away peacefully at home on March 2, 2023. He was born on July 24, 1965, in New London, to the late Anna Mae (Scyoc)and Fred Hartman Sr. Bill spent most of his life in the New London area and was a 1984 New London High School graduate.
Bill loved riding his motorcycle, tractors, and camping. He cherished any time spent with his grandchildren. An extremely hard and dedicated worker, Bill most recently was a truck driver, delivering propane for Coles Energy Inc. but he had previously worked 28 years for M.T.D. Products, and often farmed in between jobs.
Survivors include his loving wife of 21 years, Veronica (Green) Hartman; daughter, Brittany Hartman; stepson, Keven (Erin) Wise; and stepdaughter, Jessica (John) Fey; 12 grandchildren, Paige, Luke, Addison, Landon, Aubree, Skye, Sophia, Tristan, Raven, Diton, Jocelyn, and Abbie; sister, Lisa (Armando) Garcia; sister in-law, Jackie Hartman; stepbrother, Jason Hartman and stepsister, Jennifer Hartman. Bill is also survived by many, many, friends and other relatives.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Anna, stepmother, Marilyn, stepfather, R.B., grandfather, Leroy, brother, Fred Hartman Jr., nephew, Jake Hartman, and stepbrother, Jeff Hartman.
Friends and family are invited to Bill’s visitation which will be held on Monday, March 6, 2023, from 4 p.m. until 7 p.m., at Eastman Funeral Home, 200 W. Main St., New London, where a funeral will also be held on Tuesday, March 7, 2023 beginning at 11 a.m., with Bill’s cousin Pastor Darren Barnett officiating.
