William R. “Bill” Suddith, 69, of Willard, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his family on June 4, 2021. He was born on February 25, 1952, in Indianapolis, IN to the late Lou Emma (Dunham) and Irvin William Suddith Sr.
Bill loved to party and cherished time spent with his family. He loved music and playing the drums and enjoyed going to the dragstrip. Bill worked for Commercial Vehicle Group (Mayflower) and Weirs Farms.
Survivors include his loving wife of nearly 45 years, Judith (Bernard) Suddith; children, Judith K. Verhovec, Robert Lee (Ruth) McCallister, Rodney (Ann) McCallister and Donna (Marcus) Barnett; 13 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren; siblings, Ruth Zavala, Jackie Vanderpool, Barb (Charles) Gerber, Irvin William Suddith Jr. and Reese James (Tracy) Suddith.
In addition to his grandparents and parents, Bill was preceded in death by his grandson, John Verhovec II and sister in-law, Estelle.
A visitation will be held at Eastman Funeral Home, Greenwich on Monday, June 7, 2021, from 2 – 4 p.m. and again from 6 – 8 p.m. A funeral service will be held at the funeral home on the following day, Tuesday, June 8, 2021, beginning at 11 a.m. Memorial contributions if desired may be made to the funeral home in care of the family.
