Diana L. (Hale) Jones

Diana L. Jones, 66, of New London, died on Monday, January 30, 2023, at Fisher Titus Medical Center, Norwalk.  She was born on August 22, 1956, in Prestonsburg, KY, the daughter of the late Sanford and Margaret (Shepherd) Hale. 

Diana was a 1974 graduate of South Central High School.  She was employed by U-Brand in Ashland and Tenneco of Milan.  Diana was a resident of The Laurels of New London where she enjoyed playing bingo.  Diana was one of the nicest ladies; she had a great sense of humor and was always so pleasant.  She cherished spending time with her family and was looking forward to the arrival of her grandchild, Buckley.   

She is survived by her children, Jennifer (Darryl) Kidd of Willard, Tyler (Sheena) Jones of Sardinia, OH; grandchildren, Dakota Jones, Garrett Kidd, Eiley Cline and Buckley Jones; stepmom, Kash Hale of Greenwich; siblings, Jeff (Karen) Hale of Mansfield, James (Diane) Hale of Greenwich, and Marty (Josh) Radcliffe of North Fairfield; and numerous nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by her parents. 

A graveside service will be held on Friday, February 3, 2023, at 11:00 a.m. at the Maple Grove Cemetery, 4373 St Rt 61, Plymouth, OH 44865.  Memorial contributions may be directed to The Laurels of New London, Activity Fund, 204 West Main Street, New London, OH 44851.  Eastman Funeral Home assisted the family with arrangements.  Online condolences may be shared at www.eastmanfuneralhome.com.
